PX Deq: Slave Session Stats
Short Description
This is an event in the 'other' class. The process is waiting for a message during a parallel execute.
Detailed Description
This is an event in the 'other' class. This wait is seen at the end of a parallel query execution, when the query coordinator sends a request to all the participating slaves for their execution statistics.
How to reduce this wait
It is not uncommon to see a high number of waits if you have a large number of parallel queries occurring. It is only significant if the wait time is unusually high.
